Yellow perch are commonly found in cooler water that stays in the 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit range. However, if you are specifically looking for yellow perch fishing areas, the northern United States and parts of Canada can be a great place for perch anglers. They love cold water, but can be found in some warmer areas. These fish are native to North America and cannot be found naturally in other countries.
